Flight training, and the process of becoming a pilot is not easy. It is an exercise in lifelong learning. You will learn theory, you will learn flying skill, but most importantly you will learn to make decisions.
Some people have a more natural ability than others, but that doesn't make them better pilots. There is an old aviation saying that "Superior pilots use superior judgement to avoid situations that would require the use of their superior skills." In other words, use your head to avoid using your hands and feet.
I believe that anyone is capable of obtaining their license and when I am deciding to send you solo, or recommend you for a flight test, I am less concerned with perfect handling than I am with safe decision making. You will have the rest of your life to perfect your handling, so lets make it a long one!
There is an ancient Greek Aphorism "Know Thyself", I think this saying is important for, and applies to all aspiring pilots.
Before you start flight training, or during (it's never to late to start!) ask yourself hard questions and be honest with yourself when answering.
Becoming a pilot is more than just a license, it's habits, it's safe decision making, and it's lifelong learning.
It's never too late to learn a new skill and master your craft.
